Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Where They At NYC (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Safety and responsibility

• Don’t use the App while driving. Pull over safely or have a passenger check alerts.
• Information in the App is community-reported and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.
• You are responsible for your own choices, actions, and safety.

Community rules

• No harassment, threats, hate speech, or doxxing.
• Don’t post illegal content or content that violates someone else’s rights.
• Don’t spam the App or try to manipulate reports/confirmations.

User content

You may be able to submit content such as checkpoint reports and photos ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute it within the App for the purpose of operating the service.

Moderation and enforcement

We may remove User Content, limit accounts, or suspend access if we believe there is abuse, spam, or violation of these Terms.

Premium

The App may offer a Premium subscription to unlock features (for example: push notifications, higher usage limits). Subscriptions are handled through Apple In‑App Purchases and may auto-renew unless you cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of community-reported checkpoint information.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the App.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above.
